right): Burns 'Vibra Artist' Trisonic model circa.1961. (Cherry red, solid neck, chrome 'Vibra roll' tremelo unit (similar principle to a Bigsby trem.) ........This is a very special guitar to me. If you see my biography (in the early years) you'll see that it was the first guitar I ever owned,....the one I learned on. This isn't the actual one, it has taken me ages to find this great vintage instrument on the net as they are extremely rare..I eventually bought it from the boss of the famous UK guitar company. It holds a special place for me, it plays superbly, has 24 frets! and sounds great even today, due to the 'trisonic' pick-ups that have become world famous as the pick-ups used on Brian May's home built guitars. A vintage instrument that holds a lot of history about English guitar makers and guitarist's of the early 60's...(don't ask me how much I paid for it!) (I'm searching the web for a chrome bridge cover) (The Vibra Artist was used on the 1961 instrumental 45 single 'Night of the Vampire' by 'The Moontrekkers'. (Produced & recorded by Joe Meek.) 60th Anniversary Fender Stratocaster. Limited edition. 3 tone sunburst, vintage pickups, rosewood neck, chrome fittings. (The most versatile guitar ever made...from Buddy / Hank, to Stevie Ray Vaughn / Clapton / Pink Floyd etc) (This model celebrates Leo Fender's first guitar factory business, way back in 1946.) (Apart from the bridge, this is very much like my old original '64' Strat!) Fender 12 string Stratocaster. Unusual! ..rare and great sounding, for rythm. Also useful for Searchers and Byrds songs. Marble pick plate, black custom Alnico pickups, chrome knobs, black pick switch., rosewood neck. Fender Custom Telecaster. A really good looking guitar, custom made, vintage keys and head stock, maple high gloss neck with 'jumbo' frets, 7.1k Alnico bridge pickup, gold 'lipstick' neck pick-up, tortoise shell scratch plate and gold fittings, (A 'one off' beauty that sounds great). Gibson SG. Classic, made famous by Angus (AC/DC) and Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath). Most powerful 'rock' sound ever! Ovation electro accoustic. THE original quality 'bowl-back' instrument. Active pick-up, built in 'EQ' and tuner. A great sounding guitar! black body, rosewood neck, chrome keys. |
